Should I choose enterprise-class

Some distributions are said to be "enterprise-class". Is it superior? Should I prefer it over others?

Hi,

it depends on what you want to use it for. Those distributions normally cater to long term stability and security but without keeping up with the latest versions of software. As such they are often used in servers and may be less appropriate for everyday desktop/laptop use.

Essentially Enterprise editions are more stable/secure and are often expected to be used at corporate level (and not personal level). However any User can install and use enterprise version of distro as well. This might ask for a KEY for some distro, where other professional versions doesn't ask for any key/ID.
If you are using a personal Laptop, there is no need to prefer Enterprise version, unless you know what you are doing.
