there is no rhel 2.6
there was a very old rhel2 from 1999 /2000 era

the current is rhel 7.3

now depending on your desktop environment ????
Gnome 2 or 3
KDE
xfce
lxde
e19

and if you are using the "eye candy"

there are many ways to wet that up

normally i click the min. button in the window

Hi John

This is my complete version.

Linux version 2.6.18-371.4.1.el5 (mockbuild@x86-027.build.eng.bos.redhat.com) (gcc version 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-54))

Can you help me now how to map keys to minimize/resize/circle through open windows ?

Thanks
John B

rhel 5 is very old - 5.11 is still supported for CRITICAL SECURITY ONLY fixes

so the desktop would be Gnome 2 or KDE3

is the very old version of "compiz" for gnome2 installed ?

also you NEED to buy the REQUIRED license ( $199/year USD) even for the old legacy hardware rhel5
( rhel5 is still good for 10+ year OLD HARDWARE )
but crappy for new hardware

so seeing as you did buy the required support contract
have you used the redhat knowledge base ( same as the Microsoft one)
login to the redhat site with the credentials you set up when you bought the license
and use the search

you must be logged in with a valid license to read most of the results
