shell script if any home page changes

Dear all

I have nearly 25 web server . Some times my developers changed the web server home page.

I want shell script how to find out which webserver home page has changed(index.htm). and i want all the server home page code as a file.

If i run this script it will create each server home page file(index.htm), if any changes this file we should know which server changes happened.

(we should find out previous file current file difference)

Please replay me back if anyone have this sheel script

Thanks In Advance

Thanks & Regards
Sasikumr

Sounds like a perfect application use for tripwire..

http://www.tripwire.com/products/enterprise/ost/

Quote:
Open Source Tripwire retains the original core functionality of data integrity for servers. Utilizing a basic command line interface, the software will detect changes on each server on which it is installed, alerting users to intrusions and unexpected changes.
for something a bit more low end take a look at:
fam - http://oss.sgi.com/projects/fam/
gamin - http://www.gnome.org/~veillard/gamin/
inotify - http://inotify-tools.sourceforge.net/
