Sharred Partition..XP and Mandrake 10

I want to have a sharred partition that can be viewed by either OS when I'm in either OS.. I can read my XP doc's, spreadsheets, pics, and mp3's when I'm in Linux, but can't add or edit them. I was told that if I make a fat32 partition and use this to save files to it, then I can read and write from both and vice-versa..Thanks in adavance for any info....Mike

A FAT32 partition would work. As long as the files you put on this partition are compatible to both file systems, you will be able to share them.
