Sharing internet from linux to windows
 
Hello.

Would you guys be kind enough to tell me how do i share connection in SuSE 9.2?

i have a windows xp host connected via LAN to interface eth1 and a B-Focus Router 312 connected to eth0 interface.

The mode i'm using to connect is PPP over ethernet.

i know i have to use routing somehow but i don't know how exactly.

Have another question now... what's the difference between iptables and ipchains, what should i use?

use ipchains with kernels 2.2 and older, iptables with 2.4 and newer
