Several questions.

Ok, after 3 days of no sleep, learning constantly, and taking enough notes to fill a novel, I finally have everything almost now I want. I do, however, have a few questions if someone would care to help me

Info:
I am using Mandrake Linux 8.1 and KDE

1) I'm using netscape 6, but it automatically resises the... tables is the only word I can think of for them. Like in the forums, instead of making everything nice and square like IE did, it resizes them. Is there a fix for this?

2) I backed up all my bookmarks from windows, but linux just shows them as text files. How do I incorporate themn into netscape? I tried using the bookmark import tool but it only recognises HTML files, and all mine are .url files.

3) Is there any way to minimise running programs to a small icon, like windows did? the taskbar gets really clutterd when I'm running a bunch of stuff. I know I should just get over windows, but it always kept stuff looking orgonised.

4) is there any way to get Quicktime movie files to run on linux?

Thanks for the help!!!!!!!!!

The first thing you should do is get rid of Netscape 6 and try 7.

6 was very "buggy"

2) Well I don't know of any way to import those .url files into Netscape, but if you still have windows on a different partition, then you can use the export bookmark option in Internet Explorer to get a .htm file, which can be easily imported into Netscape.

To do the export:

IN IE

File > Import and Export

1) Choose Export Favorities
2) Give it a *.htm name to export to

Then you can use this .htm file to import your favorities into Netscape.

3) You can use Mplayer to play Quicktime movies, and a number of other video formats. You ca find theur site here:

http://www.mplayerhq.hu/homepage/

You will have to configure it though to be able to play all the different types of video formats, so you got to read the README, and documentation on their site thoroughly.
