Several Icons dissapear from the start application bar out of the blue

Several Icons dissapear from the start application bar out of the blue
First of all hello (since it's my first post here) .Well i've been using mandrake 9.2 for a week now (figured out some parts of it) ,then suddenly a lot of icons disapeared from the start aplication bar (including rpmDrake whithout which i'm helpless).I usualy would of reinstalled mandrake (hey it only takes 30 min) but this is the second time it happens.Thanks for your help.
