setup modem in fedora 8
I am a new user of fedora 8. I can't play mp3 or videos on my fedora coz some of the plugins of all the players <amarok,kaffeine,totem rhythmbox> are missing. I use dual OS < Xp service pack 2 and fedora 8>.I've tried downloading the and plugins from internet using my generic E67 edge modem but i was unable to install them in fedora. So I'm trying to setup my modem in fedora. Fedora can't detect my modem itself. I used Kppp but it didn't work. Can any one please tell me the whole process that how could I setup and initialize my modem and get the plugins to play songs.
