Setup is unable to find the ''gcc'' program - Fedora core 5

Where can I get this program?

Support for FC5 was dropped over a year ago. Try a supported version (F8 and F9 currently). If Fedora's update cycle is too fast for you consider Centos. Centos is RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) with the logos removed. It has a five year support life. Centos/RHEL 5 was based on FC6.

You can still find repos on the internet that supply older version packages. Go to...
...and find a mirror close to you that still has FC5. Then, you'll need to edit your apt source file.

This one still has it...
