setting wifi and eth in slackware
 
i am new in slackware (linux), please give me description,
how to activate and setting the wifi and network (using ethernet card) in slackware.
i use slackware ver.12
this is my first linux

NB: would you please someone send me the list of command in slackware
and the sample how to use it or type it
for example:
command : cd
example : cd doc

Please take a look at the man pages for the commands 'ifconfig' and 'iwconfig' -- you will find quite a bit of information that will help you connect to a wired or wireless network, as well as related commands.

'Linux Documentation Project' is another good source for reference.

Hi,

You did run 'netconfig' as root to configure the device?
If so then please post the output of 'ifconfig -a'.
