Setting up Voice Chat through Empathy on Ubuntu..

I have ubuntu Intrepid running on my Dell Laptop.I want to setup Voice Chat for Gtalk through Empathy. I was following the steps which I have mentioned at but still finding some issue which I was unable to workout. The Empathy is installed but still I couldn't do voice chat. Do I need to install further tool for the same.

I tried the instructions at

...but I've had no great success with it...
