Setting up my swapspace

Okay so I try to activate my swap space partition but it tells me that the device or resource is busy, what should I do, I have absolutely no idea.

First of all, check that the swap space isn't already activated. You can do this with:

Code:
cat /proc/swaps
If the partition already shows up as activated, you're all set. If it doesn't show up there, the partition may already be mounted as an actual partition, but before we go doing that, let me know what the above command turns up.
