Setting up my Brother MFC 9130CW wireless network printer .

HI!....I just setup Mint 20 and now I'm trying to setup my printer, a Brother MFC 9100CW wireless network printer. My Apple and Windows PCs connect fine (even my phone connects). I managed to get the printer into CUPS and can see it fine at localhost:631, but the Status is
"Unable to locate printer "BRW606DC76614F9.local".". Can anyone please suggest how I can fix this?

Did you use the driver from https://support.brother.com/g/b/down...d=mfc9130cw_us
Thee are various printer protocols, so it might be using some odd one that is not supported by CUPS by default which installing the driver from them should add.

Thanks for that help. After loading the printer installer and the .gz file I now get "Waiting for the printer to become available" I no longer get the Not connected message. Might be making progress. Thanks
