setting up linux network

Hi

I've now got 2 RedHat 9 boxes on a network. I want to access one of the boxes from the other.

I can access it from my Windows PC, but do not know how to access it from a linux box.

I don't know where to start and am happy to stick to Samba Server as I have figured it out!

Thanks

Aman

If you want to stick with Samba have a look at

NFS really is very very very simple and not something to be apprehensive about working. just add whatever you want to share to /etc/exports and (re)start the nfs server. It's a lot lot less complex than samba as both systems are already on mature unix systems, and so don't need too all extra gubbins samba has to use to make a dumb windows system be able to interact with it.
