Setting up knowledge Server on Linux

Hello Guys,

I need suggestion on this. I am in verse to setup a knowledge base server which comprises documents, ISOs, related steps of system admin for server setup, reference documents, troubleshooting guide(just like redhat kbase etc). Also, I should be able to store OS ISOs stuffs too.Any tool or software which is open source and could be setup easily on Linux machine.

Honestly, I don't have really much to tell you. What do you need suggestions about? And software for what? To share files? You can use NFS or samba to share files over your network.

Cheers,

Josh

By Knowledgebase what I really mean is a web URL which is a repository of ISOs, troubleshooting steps, documents and other stuffs.Through browser, one can submit a document comprising steps, documents etc.
Just like http://kb.vmware.com/ etc.

You need a LAMPP stack, CMS (content management system), and a large hard drive. For a CMS, I would recommend Wordpress. It's easy to work with and highly configurable.
