setting up gcc
First off, I'm very new to linux, I literally just installed Red Hat Interprise 3 and need to set up gcc. I have no idea how to build it but I know it came with the OS. There doesnt seem to be many guides out there, I guess it's too basic :)

GCC is on disk 3 of RHEL3 if I'm not mistaken... if you use the Add/Install Software gui it is under development tools... just install it through there and you should be good to go.
