Setting up Email server
 

Hi all,


I running linux 8.0 and would like to setup an email server. Does 8.0 come with the necessary tools for that or do I need to download any extras. if someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

You need sendmail, postfix or exim. Redhat comes with at least sendmail, but perhaps the other two as well. A lot of people think postfix or exim are easier to figure out than sendmail, but it's up to you which you want to use.

as what I believe, but not sure if it's a fact, that postfix is more secure then sendmail as well..
but it's hard to claim that as a fact as sendmail is more used which can be the reason why more vulernabilities are found
