Setting up an E-Commerce server
 

Hi

I've been working on Linu for a while now, but stopped a few months or so back (work/studies/personal reasons) I have finished my 3rd year University degree last year and got a new job this year Ive done a few IT courses (ccna and many others) but now I got a new job (it was given to me by a friend) and I need to setup up an E-commerce server for sales of motorbikes and accesories, Im scared as hell, I first have to setup the thing on a win2k3 server and then after 6 months time of testing it we are to take this over to a Linux machine at this point in time I havent even decided what distribution to use! I am just wondering if anyone can give me reading material books I can buy ect so I can just see what I need to do in the planning stages I just really dont know where to start or how an ecommerce server really works .. Ive set them up in lab situations but nothing in the real world yet, Please if someone can just give me the the heads up of what I might expect, windows and linux help will be greatly appreciated. I really need a guideline here please!
