Setting up an "Authentication Password" for Ubuntu software centre.

Hello. Can some one help me. I am trying to download programs from the Ubuntu software Centre and keep being asked for an authentication password.The only passwords I have are for this site, default keyring and the terminal. How do I set up this password and where? Thank you.

I have found the answer. It is my Terminal Password that is required to enter the Ubuntu Software centre.

The "authentication password" is the one you use to log in to your computer.
