setting up adsl model fdx310?

Well I'm a newbie to linux...a very newbie..hehe...had to look up how to use ls as I kept using dir......just installed mandrake 9.2 now...and my first goal is to get my internet...adsl working :)

I've a Fujitsu FDX310 adsl usb modem...and I downloaded eciadsl from sourceforge...on another pc...and ran install...config etc... and I got to this stage:..where I get errors and can't connect...and am unsure what to do next...or what Iv'e done wrong with the setup.

This is what I get when I type startmodem:

[root@localhost eciadsl_usermode_0.8]# startmodem
setting up USB support (1/5)..

loading OHCI support
/lib/modules/2.4.22-10mdk/kernel/drivers/usb/host/usb-ohci.o.gz: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
modprobe: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.22-10mdk/kernel/drivers/usb/host/usb-ohci.o.gz failed
modprobe: insmod usb-ohci failed
couldn't load usb-ohci module

loading TAP/TUN support
tun loaded successfully

loading firmware (2/5)..

firmware seems to be already loaded

setting up modem (3/5)..

ECI load 2: success
synchronization successful

connecting modem (4/5)..

connection successful

setting up route table (5/5)..

waiting for tun0..
[root@localhost eciadsl_usermode_0.8]#

????????????????... what now... I tried setting up 'adsl-setup'...and did all the fields...and put 'pppoeci' as the ethernet interface?...not sure if this is right?

** Summary of what you entered **
Ethernet Interface: pppoeci
User name: myusername@myisp.co.uk
Activate-on-demand: No
Primary DNS: 217.10.137.165
Secondary DNS: 217.10.137.137
Firewalling: NONE

???...and I think I type 'adsl-connect'....which just times out :(

Thanx for any help on this...a newbie to linux :)
