Setting the datasource name, driver and path

hello everyone,
i have developed a samll application in jsp, which when we click, migrates the data from the try.mdb file to my postgresql database. for which i have to set the JDBC driver and
datasource name, in windows i use to do it by going to Control panel>>Administrative
tools >> Datasources, select the name of the datasource by browsing the path.

Now i want to do the samething in linux, my ultimate aim to the make the application run in linux, how shall i do the above said settings in linux

Waiting eagerly for the reply
Thanks in advance

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.

I'm having your other, nearly identical post merged with yesterdays
initial question in general to keep your thread coherent rather than
having two, three or more floating about all over the place.
