setterm -foreground cyan -powersave off -store
Hey all,
I have a question about using the 'setterm' command. When not booted into X, I like setting different colors for my different terminal sessions (which I arrive at by pressing ALT+F1-5) so that I can visually distinguish which one I am in. What I would like to know is, how do can you set these settings permanently so that they will still be there when you reboot? Can I place the command in my .bashrc file? And if so, how do I specify for which terminal session a given group of settings will apply? Thanks! -Tim |
