You can report your other post to a moderator, explain the error,
and ask him to remove it.

How does your computer connect to the internet?
Dial-up modem; ADSL modem; cable modem; LAN; router?

Using dail-up MODEM.

I get somewhere with it, but it just say's something like activating something.... And nothing happens, it just stays there and does nothing.

What modem is it and how is it configured? Which program are you using to dial up?

The modem is a Generic 56HCF Data fax modem, Not too sure how it is configured or anything.

Well I can't help you without more information. HCF modems mean winmodem which are a bugger. Search this site, the wiki.linuxquestions.org site and google for help to get it going. You can use the lspci program to scan pci devices in your system to figure out what chips your modem uses.
