set up mysql on rh9

how does one go about setting up the mysql on redhat 9. Where do I go to edit the name, and password?

or is it the same as your username and password on the system?

how do I start the client, I have it installed with the rh distro, I just can't figure out how to start it up. and make a root username and password.

All this is detailed on the link I gave you above. You'll be told how to reset the "root" password after initialising the database.
