Question set .mailrc to get server down message on pager


Hi

how can i set .mailrc in linux to get message on pager if any server or box goes down. or any database problem occurs.?
is there any other file i have to go for such settings?

And your question is too generic to make much sense of. How do you expect mailrc to
interact with some server outage?

i need to setup pager when database goes down ,pager rigs.
how can i do it. can i do it in .mailrc?
