Unhappy SESSION_MANAGER problem

I have Fedora Core 1 wit GNOME and metaciy 2.6.x. Yesterday, i installed Enlightenment and unfortunenately, I ran the script to make Enlightenment to be the Windows Manager, to make it run at startup. But, when I re-login, I had message like this at .xsession-errors:

SESSION_MANAGER environment variable not defined
When i cat .xsession*, they all change to:

exec /usr/local/enlightenment/bin/enlightenment
I tried to change them to:

exec /usr/bin/metacity
But it hanged!

How can i fix this problem. I tried Failsafe, ran Metacity but still the same error message like the above one.

Thank you very much.

PS: By the way, another question: How can i install Metacity themes? I can't find Metacity's themes feature.
