Hi all.

I am currently using centos 5 on vmware. When i type service network start to bring up my ethernet interface it just brings up the loopback interface. I know the alternate command of "ifup eth0" but why isnt service network working ?

The ONBOOT=YES option might not be set in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
