Post servers for clustering


i wanna setup a 3 node redhat cluster.......... can anyone plz tell me what kind of server-clients i hv to setup?

Spell out your words, please.

And your question is kind of confusing...are you asking what kind of hardware you need, asking about the server configuration/software, or what kind of clients can access the cluster? And 'cluster' has different meanings, too...do you mean failover (single IP for multiple machines, one taking over if the other one dies)? Load balancing (first session goes to first machine, second to second, etc.), or a true cluster, with all machines handling every request together???

Servers - pretty much anything. You don't say what kind of RedHat you're using, but x64 or x86 are covered, and the RedHat knowledgebase has info on setting it up.

Clients - again, pretty much anything, but this will depend on what kind of access you're talking about. Console? VNC? Web? FTP?
