Server Installation

I want to set up a Linux server. Initially I will be connecting from Windows clients but I want to investigate thin clients running sessions on the server.

I notice that Dell can install an Enterprise version of Linux on their servers. The cost is similar to a copy of Windows server. What is the difference between a normal distribution and an Enterprise version?

Welcome to LQ.

I think you are probably refering to RedHat Enterprise. The only real difference is the level of official support.
