Server host code page

Hello all,

I am trying to determine what code page my Linux OS runs on. I have an application - documentum which will run on OS that runs on IS_-8859_1(Latin-1) code page for US and European sites. The actual application runs on UTF-8 code page. My guess is, by default, our OS will support that. But how do I confirm it?
