My ftp server is up and running. I have found posts on forums saying that macs cannot upload files to a server, and my mac wont do it nor will my friends. How can i fix this?

While the Finder program on Macintosh computers can connect to any FTP server, a limitation of the program is that it can only connect with read access. That means you will not be able to upload any files or change anything on the server while using Finder, and will need to use an FTP program such as the 'ftp' terminal program or Fetch.
Are unhappy with Mac Finder?
