Serial Port issues and Kernel 2.6
 

Hi all,

this is my second thread on these boards. Anyway, I'm having trouble with my configuration to allow me to get to my serial ports, I have a relatively cheap board (an ECS K7VTA3) so I've had a fair share of problems with it already (sound, and random lockups (fixed those)). I know that the southbridge chip is a VIA 82Cxxx and works just fine under kernel 2.4.20. But the serial port doesn't work under 2.6.0. Here's a section of the .config file that I think is the culprit
