serial mouse problem

I have an old computer that used to have win95 on it.I accidently disabled the serial mouse somehow.I completely deleted win95 and put redhat 7.0 on it.
The mouse still does not work.I tried mouseconfig and it can't find a mouse.
I'm pretty sure I manually set it correctly.I have no idea how to get it working.
I hope I can get help.Thanks

Have you checked in BIOS to see if the port is enabled?
