sendmail routing...

Hi all,

I have configured a mail server with sendmail 8.14.2 and i want to use smart host but not for all my emails.

The concept is that when my users sends email to any domains, my mailserver will serve them.. but when they want to send emails to specific domains (ex. yahoo.com) these emails must be routed through another mail server..

how can i do this? THe only think i found on sendmail docs is how to route all emails to another mailserver...

please advice

Thx

Panos

i think i did it with mailertable, and i'm waiting confirmation from the admin of the other mailserver that he receives these emails

i recompile sendmail with feature mailertable and i did the following config on mailertable file

domain.com esmtp:[mail.othermailserver.com]

and then

#hash /etc/mail/mailertable

Yes, for this, you will have to use Mailertable.
Please see the link below, and let us know if it suits your requirements:
http://www.sendmail.org/m4/mailertables.html
You might want to add lines like:
.yahoo.com smtp:a.mx.mail.yahoo.com
my.domain esmtp:host.my.domain
