sendmail log

I use the command "sendmail" to send mail to myself - sendmail , it is fine to send it , but I didn't find any record about the send process in /var/log/maillog , I also try to use the command "mail" to successfully send mail , but also can not find record in /var/log/maillog ,would advise how can I check the log ? where can I find the send mail log to trace the error ? thanks

Same answer as 2 days ago.

but use
grep <option> /var/log/* -R
