Question sending user defined packets over SPP (rfcomm ) in BlueZ


Hi ,
I want to send user defined packets ie ( a packet of my own of say 16bit ) and i want to receive the packet response from the bluetooth device for my white box testing ,I know that i can use hcidump tool for packet analysis ,but for transmitting packet (in hexadecimal ) can any one help me please .Am using ubuntu with all Bluez utilities .
