Use a ftp client to post it to a server. Then your
friend can download with a ftp client, rsync, wget, etc.

i am unfortunately newbie and have no idea how to do it. when you sad server did you mean some server on my comp, or my providers comp... ? where to find space on web for free :)? is there any easier solution?

A server is simply a computer that serves data to other computers.
You probably can't find space to host images that big for free.
You can run a server on your computer and set it up to allow your
friends to access it. Slackware comes with Apache, and if you did
a full install it's almost ready to be used. You'll need to search
for how to setup Apache, and after you've done so, and allowed
access for your friend, you can just send him a link to the file.

Use some lightweight http daemon - webfsd will do for example. Then your friend can download it directly from your box. Don't expect it be fast, 700 MB is not a tiny amount of data.
