SeLinux against Google Earth?

I just installed Google Earth but cannot run it on fc12.
This is what I get:
"Summary:
SELinux is preventing /opt/google-earth/googleearth-bin "execmod" access to
/opt/google-earth/libmoduleframework.so.
Detailed Description:
SELinux denied access requested by googleearth-bin.
/opt/google-earth/libmoduleframework.so may be a mislabeled.
/opt/google-earth/libmoduleframework.so default SELinux type is textrel_shlib_t,
but its current type is usr_t. Changing this file back to the default type, may fix your problem."

I am new to Linux and would appreciate a reference to any step-by-step guide on how to deal with this (and SeLinux in genera). I am very surprised that Google Earth is a suspect in the context of Linux security.
Thank you!
SD

Sounds like your running Fedora. Go to:
System-->Administration-->SELinux Management (That's in Gnome, should be similar in KDE). Then disable SELinux.
If you feel the need to keep SELinux enabled Fedora has a user guide:
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/selinu...2/html-single/

If your not using Fedora or other Red Hat derivatives, the instructions should be similar.

The instructions in this link I believe are what I used to get it working.

Disabling SELinux completely is a bit unecessary
