Select distro ?!?
I have used Mandrake 7-8-9 a while as server at home.
Now Im going to install a network in a school, it should run as file and printerserver..
I dont know what distro to use... called a dealer in sweden and was going to buy Mandrake 10.0 but he told me to use xandros instead.. and another one told me to use slack...
Well, if I ask somebody I allways get a new tip... but I dont want to try out all distros myself!
I just need a stable system with samba 3. Id like to run a PDC and a firewall. What should I use and why...
Use whatever you are confertable with, if you know mandy use use mandy, if you know slack, use slack, if you know suse use suse. Almost all distros can do what you want
