seedhost.eu - disks not showing

Hi !

I'm a new guy to Linux, so let's start by saying that if you explain something, you might need a little patience, before I understand it :-)

I rented a dedicated unmanaged server from seedhost.eu.
The server is supposed to have these specs :

Intel X3440
4cores/8threads 2.53GHz
8 GB ram
4 x 2 TB harddisk

The harddisks are supposed to be in a software RAID-0.
Now when I log on to my server and I try to see my disks, I only seem to see one harddisk :

freek:~# df
Filesystem Type Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
udev devtmpfs 7.8G 0 7.8G 0% /dev
tmpfs tmpfs 1.6G 89M 1.5G 6% /run
/dev/md126 ext4 1.8T 4.5G 1.7T 1% /
tmpfs tmpfs 7.9G 0 7.9G 0% /dev/shm
tmpfs tmpfs 5.0M 0 5.0M 0% /run/lock
tmpfs tmpfs 7.9G 0 7.9G 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
/dev/md2 ext2 1008M 123M 835M 13% /boot
/dev/md125 ext4 3.9G 16M 3.7G 1% /tmp
tmpfs tmpfs 1.6G 0 1.6G 0% /run/user/0

The result is as well, that I only use 2 tb, instead of the advertised 8 tb.

Seedhost.eu says they installed 4x 2 tb, and since it's an unmanaged server, I should find out myself how to get it all working.

Any support from you guys would be appreciated!

Kind regards,
Patricia

Run lsblk to see all storage.

df only shows those disks that have been formatted to contain files. These are disks with a filesystem. Furthermore, the disks named md2, md125 and md126 are RAIDs, which means they consist of several disks, and the disks of type tmpfs and devtmpfs are RAM disks.
