Secure erasing files from hard drive

Hi everyone,
Im not very familiar with Linux system on the comp.
I need to return to the owner.

Can anyone advise me how to delete complete history of files
and websites visited ?
All password and logins to websites as well
Not just from the history (Cntr+ H)
but from the drive as well !

where all the historical data is sored ? which folder ??

depends upon the browser

usually private data is stored in /var/cache
or $HOME/.somebrowsername
or may be in /tmp

Anyways all browsers have options to clear history and temporary files, i.e.
Firefox/Mozilla : you will find it options/Privacy etc.

Edit -> Preferences -> Privacy --> Cache

Konqueror
Settings --> Configure Konqueror --> Cache
