I got it all mixed up with (GNU)parted(?), I meant him to change the size of his partition. But your way is cleaner ... I guess that's what distinguishes the Moderator from the Member :p .

;) Parted is not a bad idea either, I just prefer to start fresh with linux tools on my fresh drives. But parted might do the necessary things if there is data on the drive that cannot be wiped.

Oh and yep, Gnu, and yes, Parted. ;)
