Searching for the WEY...

Not even spelling right today. I've been playing with linux for many years. Think a bbs program named Waffle got me started. Then I took
punchcard 101 and I was ready. Anyone remember 300 baud? I'm trying to get movies going on Fedora 13 and looking for the allusive WAY.

Hi,

Welcome to LQ!

Is WEY/WAY supposed to be some acronym, or are you really just
trying to play a video of some sort?

And: ah, yes, 300BAUD ... some of my friends could actually
whistle commands to their machines ;}

Cheers,
Tink

for fedora
have you read the fedora documentation ?

http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/index.html
-- there is a link to this on the download page that you used to download fedora --

there is a good quick guide on mjm's page
http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/mjm-fedora-f13.html
http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/mj...l#mediaplayers

and the default totem install asks you to buy$$$ the codeces for the non-free media
do some googling -- this is to keep the lawyers happy
but fallowing mjmwired's page should do it .
