search strings in gvim having multiple buffers

Currently in gvim I can search for a string/pattern for the current buffer only. If I have to search for a string for multiple buffers in gvim, i have to switch to each buffer and search for the string.
Is there a way to search for strings in multiple buffers simultaneously.
