search engine in slackware 14.1


hey gusys i'm newbie ,how to insal serach engine and ofice word in slackware 14.1

search engine in slackware 14.1

slackware already has a "search engine" (mlocate) from root try 'updatedb' command to index all hdd files and then 'locate filename'.
For office suite you can install Libreoffice, you can find it on slackbuilds.org
