Seamonkey1.0.6 and Firefox

I have mandrake10.0 I downloaded firefox and seamonkey web browsers,unpacked and untarred them and am able to run them by going to folder and clicking them.Question?can I start them with an icon in the panel and how do I do it.

In Gnome you can right-click on a blank area of the panel and select "Add to Panel". The thing you want to add is an "Application Launcher". Once you get the Dialog box up, just fill in the particulars.

In KDE I haven't a clue, but it may be quite similar and simple.

Thanks Kindly for your help, I suppose I should have mentioned that I am using KDE with Mandrake.I tried right
clicking in panel and using application launcher but it doesn't seem to work.I think I will load GNome and try
once more........ Thanks Again for your help.
