Sda: asking for drive cache data failed..


Hi,

I using the DELL poweredage 2850 and redhat enterprise linux as4 for OS, also have a RAID 5, I have found the one of harddisk for damage, sound "do do do" after reboot, and hold on the screen "sda asking for cache data failed" , how to entry the linux system? even i using single mode also failed at this screen, I have important data in server, plesae help me, thanks!!

have you got a replacement drive to rebuild the raid?

thanks for your reply, i haven't rebuild the harddisk now, but is not works with two harddsik if I using RAID 5?
