I was wondering how to get a script that i am writing with emacs over to possibly a flash drive or onto the desktop.?

copy it or move it or just save it there .

are you asking how to save it on to the desktop or how to copy it to the desktop ?

Thanks for the help....I was meandering around the SUSE gui and found the file under computer...my user name...as newbie to Linux I wasn't sure that saving anything in the command line that I could find it in the gui interface...but I did
