Question Scroogle Search Engine

Hello Everyone,
I just booted puppy linux for the first time this am. I booted off of a CD and so far it has been very easy. I was using Mozilla Firefox as my browser under Windows and had just added Scroogle as my search engine. I have tried to add it to sea monkey without success. It seems that Goggle is embedded as the default search engine and when I click on the links in some of the threads I have the google search screen come up. When I try to load the Scroogle add on at the Sea Monkey page it tells me I have to have a Mozilla based product to be able to add it. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

If you want to use another search engine in seamonkey, write about:config in the address bar and use "search" in the keyword.
Look for the "browser.search.defaultengine", go to that directory and copy google.src to scroogle.src. After that change scroogle.src accordingly and maybe add also a scroogle.gif.
I have never done it, but I guess it should work

Regards
