Scripting eMail Forwarding?

Hi everyone,

I need to write a script that forwards all emails in a certain imap folder that're newer than a certain date to an imap folder in another email address.

Is there a possible way to do this?

Yes. That's possible.

Can't really tell you much more because you've not given us any detailed information.
Please read through all the information in the link in my sig, which has some guidance on how to ask a question and what kind of information you need to share to get help

- I'm running Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS
- BASH would be the shell I'm normally using

Can't think of any other relevant information. However I'm new to linux. Is there any information needed I forgot to mention?

Do you really need to do it via bash scripting?
Can't you just not create a rule in your favorite email client?

That ^^ or use the forwarding function of your imap service/server/software (which you still haven't shared with us...)
Are you talking about a commercial server like gmail or aol?
Are you talking about the imap server at your isp?
Are you running your own imap server with dovecot or courier?
